Pigmentation:
Tom Ford Cheek Color in Savage is a rust coloured blush with a finely milled reddy-bronze sparkle throughout.
When swatched with a finger, this blush is incredibly pigmented, and offers an almost-opaque coverage with a stunning metallic sheen. The blush is so finely milled that it blends out beautifully and easily, with a texture reminiscent of a cream blush.
I found it very important to use a light hand when applying this blush to my face. As well as being very pigmented, it is quite a deep colour, and it reads very dark on my lily-white skin.
Ease of application:
This blush applies beautifully and blends like a dream. If you have very pale skin, I would recommend just tapping your brush into the product, and building it up slowly, because it is so highly pigmented. If you have a medium to dark skin tone then go nuts, it will translate beautifully on your skin.
Longevity:
When I wasr this Tom Ford Cheek Color in Savage, I don’t need to reapply my blush all day. I can put it on first thing in the morning, and my cheeks are still glowing and flushed in the evening.
Packaging:
Like all Tom Ford cosmetics, the Tom Ford Cheek Colors are presented in packaging that feels elegant, weighty and luxurious. The sleek mahogany coloured compact is offset by a gold band across the front.
The compact has a magnetic clasp, a saviour to all perfectly manicured nails. You won’t struggle to open it, but it closes securely and I feel confident that it wont open while travelling in my cosmetics bag.

Summary : My verdict: There is no question Tom Ford cosmetics are a premium product, and carry the price tag to match. Having said that, the formula of this blush is finer, creamier and more long-wearing than any other cheek product in my (not insignificant) blush collection. If you can afford the hefty price-tag, I do highly recommend this blush.
