Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart Valentine – Review, Photos, Swatches

Product Breakdown:

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (mouthful much?) is the most recent addition to Revlon’s stable of lip products. Possibly inspired by the popularity of other “Chubby Stick” style products, these Balm Stains are supposed to hydrate like a balm, but leave a stain that lasts for hours.

The colour I’m reviewing today is Sweetheart Valentine (seriously, what ever happened to short, punchy names for beauty products?).

Sweetheart Revlon Kissable Balm Stain 1

Sweetheart Valentine is a slightly warm fuschia pink shade.

The product itself is pleasantly mint-scented. When I applied it to my lips, there was a very mild tingle that lasted maybe 20 seconds before disappearing, and once on my lips, the smell was not at all noticeable.

The texture was slightly waxier than I was expecting, however it didn’t drag at all. I also found this Balm Stain to be more pigmented than I was expecting, a pleasant surprise.

After wearing Sweetheart Valentine for a few hours my lips did not feel especially hydrated, however they were not at all dry either. When the balm eventually wore off, my lips were prettily popsicle stained.
