Rae Morris and myself, September 2011
In September of last year, I was given the opportunity to meet the incredible Rae Morris and learn about her (at that time) brand new line of brushes. It was love at first sight, and you can read the article I wrote about them, including a review of the brush I was gifted with HERE.
Rae Morris and myself, June 2012
I was lucky enough to meet with Rae again last week, at a preview for Hair Expo, THE trade show for Australian Hairdressers, which is taking place this weekend. It was an incredibly exciting night for me, for a few reasons.
Reason number 1 – she did my makeup! (well, half of it). In the image above you can see her demonstrating a very simple way to make small eyes look much larger. If you’re interested in learning how to do it, let me know in the comments, and I’ll post a tutorial.
Reason number 2 – she announced that her brushes will FINALLY be available for individual sale! I have been waiting for this day since I first picked up one of her brushes.
No word as yet on when the brushes will be listed on her website, but if you’re in Sydney, and like me, you just can’t wait, they will be available at Hair Expo! Admission to the Hair Expo starts at $34 for a single day, and you can purchase tickets HERE.
If you’re interested in Rae’s brushes, I have created a picture heavy article outlining each of her brushes, their intended purpose, and their RRP and you can read that HERE.
Let me leave you with a before and after of Miss Chew after having her makeup done, Victoria’s Secret Angel style by Rae:
