This eyeshadow trio contains three pearlised eyeshadows – one in a pale lime green, one in a bright citrus orange and one in red with micro-glitter.
At first swipe for swatching, I was a little disappointed in the pigmentation of these shadows, as they applied quite sheerly. They did however build up quite easily, without appearing chalky or patchy.
I have found the best way to apply these shadows is with a stiff brush or your fingers, if you are looking for vibrant colours. Applying them over a cream base also helps to bring out the best in these shadows. When applied with a fluffy brush, you are left with a sheer wash of colour, which is quite on trend at the moment.
Ease of application:
These eyeshadows are incredibly easy to apply, and would be ideal for someone who lacks experience in eyeshadow application. Because of the light pigmentation, it is virtually impossible to overload your brush, so the colours are very easy to control. However, because they are very buildable, it is still possible for anyone to achieve a more dramatic or vibrant look by simply layering the shadows.
The packaging for this eyeshadow trio is light and compact, with very little wasted space. It feel reasonably robust.
The clear lid is practical. If I had several of these eyeshadow trios, I could see at-a-glance the colours I was picking up.
Unfortunately, due to the three colour being pressed into the one pan, it can be a little difficult to pick up a clean colour on a fluffy brush. I have a lot more success when using a small stiff brush.
