Here’s another one of Maybelline’s new collections for 2011 – An ultra-mini collection of 2 polishes, launched in time to prepare for Autumn.
Fruit Juice is fully opaque in three coats, although you can easily get away with 2 coats.
Tart is fully opaque in 2 coats.
Ease of application:
The brush of these polishes is quite long and floppy, which can make for a slightly more difficult application if you are used to the OPI style pro-wide brush. With a little practice and a steady hand they are ok.
My personal opinion is that longevity of a polish is more about the base-coat/top-coat combination than it is about the polish. These do not chip on me any faster than any other polish I use.
Maybelline Mini Colorama polishes are packaged in cute-as-a-button bottles that are somewhere between full-sized and sample sized.
What they say:
Bitter Sweet Bliss.
Colorama Mini Nail Color Bitter Sweets Collection is a delicious offering of two new shades, Fruit Juice and Tart, that will guarantee to warm even the coolest season.
Feature with bright autumn reds through to rich merlot tones, Maybelline NY’s Colorama Mini Nail Color Bitter Sweets Collection provides a relaxed and sophisticated finish to any outfit!
Supermarkets, pharmacies, variety and independent stores.
Available from February 2012.
