M.A.C Restless Lipglass – Review, Photos, Swatches

Restless is surprisingly well pigmented for a MAC Lipglass. The colour is a very wearable brick red with a shot of gold shimmer through it.

My lips have very little natural pigment, but Restless lipglass definitely imparts quite a strong colour.

The colour is a little warmer than I generally like to wear (I like my lip colours very cool toned), but it’s a pretty shade, and great if you’re looking for an earthy look.

Ease of application:

Due to the pigmentation, I recommend using a mirror to apply this particular shade of lipglass. Having said that, it’s not particularly problematic to apply. Be warned, it can settle very slightly into your lip lines, as shown in the below image:

MAC Lipglass is known for it’s sticky formulation, which makes it quite long-wearing as far as lipglosses go. I can get around 4 hours wear out of Restless before I feel the need to reapply.

Restless is packaged in very standard MAC Lipglass packaging. A small tube with a glossy black lid, and a doe-foot applicator.
