Holy fluorescent pink pigmentation Batman! This is one pigmented lipstick.

These hand swatches show a single swipe of product across my hand – immediate full coverage pigmentation.

Ease of application:

The Jumbo Pencil format, although not the most product-economical packaging, makes this a breeze to apply – just colour your lips in with the crayon!

Longevity:

I was able to get a good 5+ hours of wear from this lipstick without needing to retouch. During this time I ate a bowl of Paella and had a drink (no straw). It did come unstuck when I ate a Magnum ice-cream, but I challenge you to find a lipstick that will last through that.

Packaging:

LordandBerryShiningLipstick1

Like all Lord & Berry products, the packaging is sleek, minimal and functional.

I enjoy the look of all Lord & Berry packaging, however I do have one gripe – I find lipstick pencils that need to be sharpened frustrating, as I feel like I am wasting product every time I use a sharpener on it.

Anything else worth mentioning?:

This lipstick is incredibly comfortable to wear, a particular surprise when you consider the level of pigmentation. Not only did this lipstick NOT dry my lips out, it actually left them feeling softer and more nourished that before I applied it! Even better, I was able to wear this without a lip liner, or invisible lip liner and I experienced NO feathering or bleeding. A small miracle, if you ask me!

My verdict:

Please excuse me looking a little tired here, this picture was taken after a very long day at work, and I didn’t touch up anything except my lipstick before taking the shot.

This lipstick formula is absolutely sensational, and I can immediately understand why Lord & Berry has a cult status amongst makeup fans. What I simply don’t understand is why Lord & Berry is not more popular here in Australia! If you have the chance to get your hands on this 20100 Shining Lipstick formula, TAKE IT — you won’t regret it.
