IMATS 2013 Tag
Which IMATS are you attending?
I’ll be attending Day 1 of Sydney IMATS 2013.
Have you ever been to IMATS before?
I’ve been every year for the last 5 years.
How are you getting there?
I’ll be catching the train from the Blue Mountains, around 2 hours from Sydney.
Are you bringing anyone along?
Nope, I’m heading there all by myself, but there’s a VERY good chance I’ll bump into people I know.
Is there anything else in Sydney that you want to see?
Sydney is not really a tourist destination for me. I lived there for 10 years, and still venture in around once a fortnight. I’ll be sticking to the Exhibition Centre, and possibly stopping in Chinatown for lunch.
What days will you be in Sydney?
Just Saturday the 21st of September 2013.
Who do you want to meet?
I’ve met Rae Morris and Nicole Thompson many times, and it will be nice to see them again. I’ll alo probably try to meet Dana Nye and Eve Pearl. If any Makeup Utopia readers are attending, I’d LOVE to meet you!
What companies exhibits are you most excited to see?
I’m especially looking forward to stroking the amazing brushes at Hakuhodo, checking out B’Dellium Tools after hearing a lot about them from the US, seeing what PM Studio has in store this year, having a play with some LimeCrime products, and looking at the latex appliances available at Girlee, Kryolan and Mehron.
What products are you looking for?
There’s nothing that I particularly need, but I know I’ll be wigging out over the lovely brushes, and hopefully picking up some SFX makeup to play with in the lead up to Halloween.
How much do you plan to spend?
As little as I can possibly get away with! I’m sure I’ll pick up a few things, but I’m really trying to keep spending in check this year.
What do you want to get out of IMATS?
I’m looking for inspiration and education from the workshops, a fun day playing with makeup, and hopefully the chance to bump into old and mew makeup-loving friends!
Will you be heading to IMATS this weekend? What are you most looking forward to?
