It’s Monday, which means it’s time for another Hit List. This week I’m sharing with you all the products that have been on high rotation in my makeup routine during July.
Estee Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer
I’ve been especially enjoying this primer during winter. My skin tends to dry out in colder weather, and loses a lot of its natural glow. This primer locks my foundation in for all day-wear, while making a measurable difference to the texture of my skin. I’ve reviewed it in full here.
Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation
The creamy texture of this foundation is great for my dry winter skin, and it doesn’t split, pool or wear off my face. Although it inherently provides fuller coverage than I like, I buff it into my skin, which sheers it out slightly, giving me a fresh, natural appearance. I’ve reviewed it here.
Illamasqua Naked Rose Powder Blusher
This month I’ve been favouring a muted, natural glow to my cheeks. I’ve been neglecting my (rather large) blush collection in favour of Naked Rose by Illamasqua this month. It’s the perfect neutral blush for fair to medium skin tones, and is so finely milled, it blends into my skin like butter. I reviewed this blush in full here.
Bobbi Brown Intensifying Long-wear Mascara
I didn’t love this mascara when I first started using it – it worked well, but didn’t wash off cleanly. Over the last few weeks I’ve found myself reaching for it every single day. I love that it creates clean defined eyelashes, the teeny brush makes it very easy to apply, and it doesn’t transfer on my deep-set, hooded eyes. I originally reviewed this here.
Lancome Rouge in Love Lipstick in 163M
I feel in love with this lipstick at first swipe. The formula wears incredibly well, and unlike most very pigmented lipsticks, it feels quite moisturising on my lips. I love wearing this lipstick with an otherwise bare face just as much as I enjoy wearing it with a full face of makeup. I reviewed this lipstick here.
That sums up the 5 products I have been reaching for most frequently this month. What products have you been obsessing over during July? Let me know in the comments.
