Eye of Horus Liquid Define Eyeliner is BLACK.
It is quite a heavily pigmented eyeliner, and is opaque black and shiny after one stroke – definitely a positive in my eyes.
Ease of application:
If you are accustomed to applying your eyeliner with a brush, this felt-tipped texta style of application can be a little tricky at first, because the felt tip doesn’t have the same flexibility as a brush. Once you get the hang of the stiffer applicator, I found this eyeliner to be a dream to apply.
Unlike other liquid eyeliners I have used, I found the Eye of Horus Liquid Define Eyeliner to apply smoothly – if I layered more than one coat, it didn’t pull or drag the product off.
I would liken the formula of this liquid eyeliner to a gel/liquid hybrid. The texture is less of an ink than most liquids, it seems to have a little more “body”, making it easy to move and manipulate.
I also found that, if I made a mistake, it was very easy to clean up this eyeliner with a damp cotton bud.
This was the one and only area that the Eye of Horus Liquid Define Eyeliner fell down for me. I applied this eyeliner on completely naked, unprimed eyelids, and it lasted beautifully for around 6 hours. After 6 hours I had noticeable fading, and after around 9 hours it looked very grey and patchy. I would suggest that you apply this over an eye primer to increase the longevity.
What they say:
Liquid Define Eye Liner is an amazingly easy to use liquid “texta” that draws a gorgeous black line on your lid, allowing for perfect definition.
Dries almost instantly and won’t imprint on eye lids. Stays on all day or night.
